Opt Out!
To sign up to Royal Mail's Door-to-Door Opt-Out you first need to ask the company to send you an opt-out form. You can do so by sending an e-mail with your name and address to optout@royalmail.com, or by tapping your details in the Junk Buster widget below. Using Junk Buster you can request a Your Choice opt-out form and cancel the Yellow Pages, Thomson Local and/or BT Telephone Directory at the same time.
If you request an opt-out form via e-mail or Junk Buster you will probably get the form send to you as a PDF attached to an e-mail. [1] The form can't be completed electronically, so in order to opt out you will to need to print the form. If you prefer, you can also request the form by phoning 01865 796 988, or by writing to Freepost RRBT-ZBXB-TTTS, Door-to-Door Opt-Outs, Royal Mail, Kingsmead House, Oxpens Road, OXFORD, OX1 1RX.
Junk Buster
The opt-out machine is right here… [2] Go on, cancel that junk mail!
Notes
[1] The opt-out form can also be downloaded as a PDF from the Stop Junk Mail website. In case you're wondering, completing and sending the form to Royal Mail is unlikely to speed up the opt-out process; in all likelihood Royal Mail will simply send you another form to complete.
[2] Well, you do need to have Flash installed. Apologies if you're viewing this page on an iThing - I'm hoping to get an anti-Flash-device-friendly version of Junk Buster at some point in the future.
